Position Title: Junior Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Junior Electrical Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical design and site execution. The role involves supporting the engineering team in drafting, coordination, and implementation of electrical systems for commercial and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing electrical designs including power distribution, lighting, and low current systems.
• Prepare and update shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and cable schedules.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor installation progress and compliance with drawings and standards.
• Support in preparing technical submittals, RFIs, and material take-offs.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP/Civil) to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning stages.
• Maintain documentation and records in line with project and quality requirements.
• Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and applicable electrical codes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably with an MEP contractor.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office; knowledge of Dialux, Revit is a plus.
• Basic understanding of international codes (NEC, IEC) and local regulatory standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow under senior supervision.

Interview Process:

Candidates will undergo the following three interview rounds:

• HR Round - Overview of the company and review of candidate background.
• Technical Round - Assessment of electrical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Managerial Round - Final evaluation of fit within the team and project adaptability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: KD250.000 - KD750.000 per month
