Position Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Engineer with over 5 years of experience in electrical systems design, execution, and project coordination within MEP environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of electrical installations in commercial, residential, and industrial settings, and demonstrate leadership in managing engineering deliverables from design through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, develop, and implement electrical system designs for low and medium voltage applications.
• Prepare and review electrical load calculations, single-line diagrams, schematics, and panel schedules.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems at site to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes (NEC, IEC), and safety standards.
• Evaluate and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Resolve site-level technical issues and provide engineering support to project and site teams.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and international standards in all aspects of project delivery.
• Support project planning, cost estimation, and resource scheduling related to electrical scope.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the electrical team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in MEP contracting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, and MS Office; experience with Revit is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of international codes (NEC, IEC, BS) and local Kuwait regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.

Interview Process:

The recruitment process consists of three interview rounds:

• HR Round - Company introduction, candidate background, and alignment with values.
• Technical Round - Evaluation of technical knowledge, design ability, and project experience.
• Managerial Round - Discussion with department manager on leadership, execution, and team fit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: KD350.000 - KD1,000.000 per month
