Senior Accountant

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Maintain general ledger entries and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
• Handle daily accounting tasks including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Monitor and record income and expenses from multiple branches or outlets

Financial Reporting:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of books at month-end and year-end
• Support in the preparation of management reports and variance analysis

Inventory & Cost Accounting:

• Monitor and reconcile inventory records in coordination with the operations team
• Track cost of goods sold (COGS) and analyze inventory usage, waste, and variances
• Liaise with procurement to ensure accurate purchase order and invoice matching

Compliance & Internal Controls:

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and support the preparation of VAT filings
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls and financial procedures
• Prepare documentation for external auditors and support audit processes

Support to Finance Manager:

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and support business decisions
• Act as a mentor to junior accountants and support team development
