Position Title: Junior Plumbing & Fire Fighting Engineer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Plumbing & Fire Fighting Engineer with 5+ years of experience, including hands-on involvement with KFF (Kuwait Fire Force) standards. The role involves supporting senior engineers in the design, coordination, and execution of plumbing and fire fighting systems across commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of plumbing and fire fighting system designs, layouts, and riser diagrams.
  • Support hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, and material take-offs.
  • Prepare shop drawings, technical submittals, and documentation as per project requirements.
  • Ensure that all systems conform to KFF regulations and NFPA/IPC standards.
  • Coordinate with site teams and monitor installation work to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
  • Assist in preparing KFF submissions and support during inspections.
  • Report progress, challenges, and site updates to senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with other MEP disciplines to ensure smooth project integration.
  • Maintain documentation for QA/QC and authority approvals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing and fire fighting engineering.
  • Working knowledge of KFF regulations and submission protocols is essential.
  • Familiarity with NFPA, IPC, and other international plumbing/fire codes.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office; Revit is a plus.
  • Good communication and coordination skills; eager to learn and grow within a structured team.

Interview Process:

Candidates will go through a three-stage interview process:

  • HR Round - Introduction to company, role, and culture fit assessment.
  • Technical Round - Evaluation of technical proficiency and understanding of KFF standards.
  • Managerial Round - Discussion on project experience, responsibility level, and teamwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: KD350.000 - KD750.000 per month
