The Senior Accountant - Credit Department (الكويت) is responsible for managing and controlling all receivables for وظائف shipped from the الكويت plant and ensuring that collections remain within DSO targets. The role includes reviewing LC documents before submission to the bank for negotiation, issuing credit releases for new and ongoing وظائف (production/shipment), and ensuring that LC and LG terms comply with Kirby's standard requirements. The المنصب also requires effective communication with all relevant stakeholders for high value وظائف, preparation of the Weekly Collection Forecast Report, monitoring due LC payments, and coordinating tentative shipment schedules and expected receipts.

• LC checking and documentation review
• Receivables management and follow up
• Verifying and revising LC terms to align with Kirby's standard terms
• Coordination with banks for LC advice, confirmation, and related requirements
• LC negotiation and follow up for timely payments
• Issuance of Bank Guarantees
• Preparation and circulation of the Collection Forecast Report
• Driving cashflows by coordinating with banks for timely LC negotiation credits

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in banking dealings and trade finance (LC, LG, SBLC, CAD, etc.), including at least 1 year of experience in الكويت with exposure to Islamic LCs
• Strong Excel proficiency and strong numerical/analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Prior banking experience and/or UCP 600 certification is preferred
• University degree in accounting with strong business acumen
