Job Summary

The Social Media Officer is responsible for supporting the planning, creation, execution, and management of social media content across all digital platforms. This role focuses on content creation, video editing, community engagement, campaign execution, and maintaining the marketing calendar to ensure consistent, engaging, and brand-aligned communication.

Key Responsibilities 1. Content Creation, Scheduling & Marketing Calendar Management
  • Create engaging and visually appealing content, including images, videos, reels, stories, and short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Edit and optimize video content for social media, ensuring high-quality output tailored to each platform.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain the social media and marketing content calendar in alignment with campaigns, promotions, product launches, and key business dates.
  • Schedule and publish content across all social media platforms according to the approved calendar.
  • Write compelling captions, hashtags, and post descriptions to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives through close collaboration with the الشركة guidelines.
  • Coordinate daily activities and content execution with the Marketing in charge.
2. Community Engagement & Reputation Management
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.

  • Escalate customer inquiries, feedback, or complaints to the appropriate internal teams when required.
3. Campaign Planning & Execution
  • Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns, including promotions, product launches, and events.
  • Assist in developing campaign-specific content, including video assets, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
4. Trend Monitoring & Innovation
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging content formats.
  • Suggest creative and innovative content ideas based on trending topics and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate social media activities with in-store promotions, events, and e-commerce initiatives.
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance overall social media strategy and performance.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Strong video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a local الكويتi accent and be able to communicate naturally with the local audience in video and voice-based content.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and analytics.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
  • Basic understanding of paid social media advertising.
  • Experience working with influencers and content creators.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce or retail social media operations.
