We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, compliance, and analysis within our oil and gas operations. The role involves working closely with cross functional teams to ensure accurate financial management and contribute to strategic decision making.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with management on financial reporting, budgeting, and providing insights to support strategic decision making.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and cost saving opportunities.
• Lead month end and year end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring efficiency and compliance with الشركة policies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights for strategic planning.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard الشركة assets and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits, providing required documentation and resolving queries.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems/ERP.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage/mentor a team.
