About the job

Velvet Desert is a luxury jewelry and lifestyle brand rooted in Middle Eastern elegance, speed, and attention to detail. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Packer / Customer Service Representative to join our Sharq team. This dual-role المنصب requires precision in packing and dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction through professional communication and service.

The Role

You’ll ensure every Velvet Desert package leaves our facility perfectly presented, accurately labeled, and on time—while also being a point of contact for customers, helping them with inquiries, orders, and after-sales support.

Your Challenge Packing Products

Pack products carefully using the correct materials (bubble wrap, foam, etc.) to protect them during transit.

Labeling and Sorting

Label packages accurately with shipping addresses, barcodes, and handling instructions; sort shipments by destination.

Checking Product Quality

Verify items before dispatch, ensuring they are undamaged and meet brand standards.

Preparing Shipping Documentation

Include packing slips, invoices, and any required shipping documents with every order.

Maintaining Packing Area

Keep the area organized and well-stocked with packaging materials in good condition.

Following Safety Protocols

Handle products safely, maintain cleanliness, and follow الشركة safety guidelines.

Working with Other Teams

Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Inventory Management

Track packing materials and report low inventory to maintain smooth operations.

Shipping Orders

Prepare packages for dispatch, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Quality Control

Double-check sealed and labeled goods before shipping.

Handling Customer Inquiries

Respond to customer questions or concerns via phone, email, chat, or in person.

Problem Resolution

Identify and resolve issues such as returns, exchanges, or delivery errors.

Product or Service Guidance

Assist customers with product details, features, or order-related information.

Processing Orders

Manage customer orders and ensure accurate data entry in the system.

Maintaining Customer Records

Update customer profiles and interactions in the CRM system.

Escalation Management

Forward complex issues to senior CS or management while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Follow-ups & Feedback

Conduct post-resolution follow-ups to confirm satisfaction and gather feedback.

Requirements
  • Have strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-الأول mindset.
  • Are organized, precise, and pay great attention to detail.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Are fluent in Arabic & English (preferred).
  • Have prior experience in packaging, logistics, or customer service (an advantage, but not required).
