Job Description
  • Supervise and inspect electrical installations, systems, and equipment throughout all phases of construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
  • Analyze electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to verify accuracy and identify potential issues before implementation.
  • Coordinate with electrical contractors and subcontractors to schedule work, resolve technical challenges, and maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and testing of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire safety systems, and emergency backup systems.
  • Document all electrical work, inspections, and test results, maintaining comprehensive project records and reports.
  • Identify and address safety hazards related to electrical work, ensuring all personnel follow established safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations to project managers, architects, and other stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems on site and implement corrective actions to maintain project progress.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with الكويت building codes, international standards, and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, structural, and architectural components.
  • Maintain organized records of equipment certifications, warranties, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 12 years in construction site management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations, power distribution, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency with electrical design software and project management tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of building codes, electrical standards, and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with construction documentation, testing procedures, and compliance reporting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams.
  • Knowledge of risk management and safety compliance in construction environments.
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
  • Experience working on projects in the Middle East or with Middle Eastern building standards (preferred).
  • Knowledge of الكويت specific building regulations and local construction practices (preferred).
  • Professional certifications in electrical engineering or construction management (preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic construction environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
