About the Role

The catalog Editor is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the product catalog across platforms. This role collaborates closely with category managers, content, e-commerce, and marketing teams to ensure the catalog reflects up-to-date product information, supports seamless life cycle management, and enables an optimal customer experience.

Job Description
  • Coordinate regularly with category managers for product updates (new launches, discontinued items, assortment changes).
  • Ensure timely and accurate catalog updates across online and/or offline platforms.
  • Apply proper categorisation, tagging, and product mapping to ensure discoverability and structure.
  • Review and validate all product information including titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, and imagery.
  • Ensure consistency, brand alignment, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Maintain version control and structured documentation of catalog changes.
  • Monitor catalog performance to identify gaps, missing assets, or inconsistencies.
  • Highlight content or data issues impacting customer experience.
  • Recommend improvements in product presentation and data quality.
  • Liaise with content, e-commerce, commercial, and marketing teams for campaigns and
  • Support internal teams with catalog -related data requests or clarifications.
  • Coordinate with tech and ERP teams when needed for data sync or structural changes.
  • Manage updates throughout the product life cycle from listing to phase-out.
  • Track active, inactive, and end-of-life items to maintain catalog accuracy.
  • Ensure proper documentation and governance around changes.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in catalog management, merchandising, or content editing (preferably in retail or e-commerce).
  • Strong attention to detail, structured mindset, and ability to manage high data volumes.
  • Comfortable working with product data, taxonomies, and life cycle processes.
  • Familiarity with Product Life-cycle Management (PLM) and/or Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience working with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
