Sales Manager

1. Job Summary : Contribute to the building and implementation of the companys sales strategy through exceptional working relationships with customers, distribution excellence and the motivation of his/her team for optimum performance.

2. Job Responsibilities & Tasks (Duties include but are not limited to)

• Analyses regularly the effectiveness of the sales operation to ensure proper distribution of the right products in the right channels and outlets.

• Stays abreast of competition moves and trends in the FMCG industry specifically with new products and prices.

• Leads, manages, and coaches Field Sales Managers & Sales Team Leaders.

• Develops excellent relations with company distributors and assists them to provide quality service to customers.

• Maintains receivables at a low level and proposes ideas to improve credit in view of market position and company policy.

• Ensures the continuous development of his/her team aligning HR on development plans assistance for high performers.

• Reviews and evaluates sales versus forecast and competition movement while taking corrective action.

• Implements incentive schemes with full fairness and integrity.

• Reports to line manager on any proposed change in customer credit limit and discounts (trade & cash) based on market dynamics & sales budget requirements.

• Coordinates with the Channel Marketing Manager on the marketing activities implementation.

• Achieves the targeted coverage for the newly launched items within 75 days. • Completes the listing of the new items to the key customers within 1 month.

• Makes sure the product range availability per channel is implemented.

4. Required Job Qualifications & Competencies :

4.1 Education & Experience • Bachelors degree preferably in business administration.

• A minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in similar and related field.

• Managed teams for 2 years or more.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: KD1,000.000 - KD1,200.000 per month
