General Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting tasks including journal entries, ledger management, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee petty cash transactions
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls
- Support audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience (preferably in shipping, logistics, or trading industries)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)
- Transferable visa in Kuwait
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: KD300.000 - KD350.000 per month
