Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative, passionate, and experienced Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and arrangement, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for color, detail, and trends. You will be responsible for crafting beautiful and customized floral arrangements for a variety of occasions including weddings, events, corporate functions, and day-to-day customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create original and visually appealing floral arrangements for various occasions (e.g., weddings, birthdays, funerals, corporate events).
• Design bouquets, centerpieces, and custom floral pieces based on customer preferences and latest floral trends.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and offer design suggestions.
• Prepare flower arrangements for delivery and ensure safe packaging.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the flower shop at all times.
• Ensure proper care and handling of flowers and plants to maximize freshness and shelf life.
• Receive, unpack, and store floral supplies and inventory, monitoring for quality and availability.
• Keep up to date with current floral design techniques, trends, and seasonal flowers.
• Manage customer orders, walk-in requests, phone calls, and online orders efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with team members to plan for large-scale orders and events.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a professional florist.
• Strong artistic and design skills with a good eye for color, shape, and balance.
• Knowledge of flower care and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak seasons.
• Visa 18 (Normal) is a must — candidates with other visa types will not be considered.
• Must be available to join immediately.
• Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays, when required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with floral arrangement.

Pay: KD300.000 - KD400.000 per month
