The American Creativity Academy is an IB World School, accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Middle States Association (MSA). Our curriculum is based on American Core Standards, with a focus on academic excellence, creativity, and character development.

About the Role

The American Creativity Academy is seeking qualified and passionate Middle and High School Teachers (Grades 6–12) in Math, English, Science, and History/Social Studies to join our team in الكويت. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are committed to student success and interested in gaining international teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instruction aligned with the American curriculum.
• Teach subject‑specific content across Grades 6–12 (Math, English, Science, or Humanities).
• Create engaging, student‑centered lesson plans that support diverse learning needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Communicate effectively with parents and participate in conferences.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives.
• Support extracurricular activities and student development programs.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school committees.
• Supervise students in classrooms and during school activities.
• Uphold school policies and contribute to the school’s mission and vision.

Qualifications and Values

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area: English, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), or History/Social Studies.
• Valid teaching license/certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent preferred).
• Preferred 1–2 years of teaching experience (new graduates are welcome to apply).
• Strong subject knowledge and teaching methodology.
• Experience with American, IB, or international curriculum is an advantage.
