We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Site Engineer – Steel Structures to join our team in الكويت. This role is ideal for a professional with solid on-site exposure to steel structure projects, capable of bridging the gap between design intent and site execution while confidently engaging with consultants and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Drawing Expertise: Interpret and review Structural GA drawings, connection details, and shop drawings with a high level of accuracy, identifying discrepancies between design and actual site conditions
Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination: Lead technical discussions and meetings with Consultants and Owners, clearly presenting site challenges and proposing practical, solution-oriented outcomes
Site Oversight & Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards, and resolve construction-related issues
Project & Resource Management: Plan and manage schedules, manpower, materials, budgets, and coordination activities related to steel structure works
Essential Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in steel structure construction projects
Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering principles and steel erection practices
Solid understanding of steel design codes and standards (AISC, Eurocode, etc.)
Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic coordination / project management tools
Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills
Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
