This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP***.

The Quality Lead is responsible for performance monitoring of program functional areas through the established auditing program, document control program and Vectrus Improvement Program. The role includes performing audit surveillances of Program internal procedures to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of processes. Responsibilities also include scheduling, reviewing audits, approving audits, mentoring auditors and ensuring quality databases are maintained. The position ensures all quality systems comply with ISO 9001-2015 standards, monitors the customer comment program, collects, analyzes and reports all data to leadership, and reports to the TO Quality Manager or designee.

• Train, mentor, lead, and provide technical guidance and assistance to the auditors.
• Administer initial counseling regarding department policies, rules, and expectations to new auditors.
• Schedule, assign, review, and approve audit/surveillance reports.
• Conduct audit surveillances in functional or operational areas.
• Prepare audit/surveillance reports as needed.
• Monitor and track nonconformances on Vectrus Associated Risk Management System (VARMS) Reports, Enterprise Valued Analytics (EVA), Letter of Technical Direction (LOTD) closures and Self Identification CARs on SharePoint.
• Facilitate and assist in Root Cause Analysis and develop Corrective and Preventive action plans as required.
• Assign Corrective Action Request (CAR) verification audits and direct verification methods to verify completeness and effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor and oversee the site implementation of the Voice of Customer (VOC) Program, ensuring all data is collected, analyzed, vetted, logged and tracked through closure.
• Monitor program functions for compliance with the PWS & ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Participate as required in Quality partnering meetings with Internal and External Customers.
• Prepare reports as required to the Quality Manager.
• Report daily Personnel Status Report (PERSTAT)/H CAMs.
• Prepare appointment memorandums and other administrative functions as needed.
• Order and prepare order requisitions for supplies and property as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education/Certifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire) from an accredited institution such as ASQ, Koenig, Exemplar Global, SAE, or Global Association of Quality Management.
  • Preferred current ServSafe certification or ability to pass examination within 120 days of hire.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. or Country of Origin driver’s license.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years direct Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience is highly desirable.
  • 7 years in contracting environment, with a minimum of 5 years of management or supervisory experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent English communication (both written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing reports and vetting nonconformances.
  • Proven strong leadership skills.
  • High level or senior organizational skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ServSafe.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the FAR,ARs & DoD regulations.
  • Extensive experience with all Microsoft Office products and database management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and maintain excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and oral.
• Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Office Tools).
  • Excellent communicator both in writing and verbally.
  • Expertise in writing SOPs, Plans, Work Instructions, processes and Project Orders.
  • Proven analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
• Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • May fill in as a Quality Manager as necessary.
• Working Conditions:
  • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather condition with temperatures exceeding 120°F.
  • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (hot, dry, dusty, desert environment). Includes some industrial production environment conditions.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible force constantly to move objects. Job is rated for light work.
  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where potential exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents exists.
  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required for some situations. PPE includes head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
  • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
