الوصف الوظيفي:
Install and configure network Hardware and Software.
Maintain, troubleshoot, install, and upgrade LAN and WAN communication systems, which include Hardware, Software, access methods, VPN, protocols, and IP Telephony.
Plan and monitor installation of network and communication circuits.
Generate network monitoring/performance reports for LAN/WAN utilization.
Recommend network design changes/enhancements for improved systems availability and performance
Any changes to the LAN, Server environment, policies and procedures ,security or disaster recovery must be discussed Superintendent's Representative and shall not be implemented without written authority from the الشركة.
Maintain any disaster recovery plans as might be agreed between parties.
Produce summary reports of all activities, and information on the provided service to the الشركة.
Periodically install new releases or versions of the Software products on the
الشركة network systems. Such installation will be scheduled as required.
Troubleshoot and maintain the network infrastructure, including network
connectivity and utilization, network performance tuning.
Identifies and resolves network related technical problems.
Install, support, and maintain Hardware and Software Infrastructure according to best practices, including routers, aggregators, switches, Wi-Fi controllers, and firewalls.
Configure wireless devices and Equipment, IP Telephony, routers, and switches.
Be updated and always abide with الشركة procedures and policies.
Carry out any other responsibilities or tasks, which are instructed by the الشركة.
Experience:
4+ years of experience in solving LAN/WAN incidents.
Good knowledge of networking and internetworking technologies such as ATM, gigabit Ethernet, intranets, routing protocols, VLANs, IP Telephony, and different communications solutions.
Good knowledge on Cisco security devices.
Qualifications
University Degree in Computer/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Certified in the following Certifications - CCNP.
Excellent in problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent in English and preferably have knowledge of Arabic as well.
Must possess a valid الكويتi driving license.
