Job Summary: Responsible for designing landscape drawings for all project types; with particular emphasis on innovation and aesthetics, whilst ensuring that the changes to the natural environment are appropriate, sensitive and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities Policies & ProceduresAnalyze the natural environment of the site with regards to the landscape requirements, this may include (but is not limited to):
Engage with senior architects, infrastructure and project managers to establish general landscape requirements and confer with them to determine the factors affecting planning landscape sites, such as: architectural preferences, purpose and function.
Assist in preparation of preliminary designs to address the needs of the client after studying and analyzing the site.
Assist in development of detailed site plans, reports, working drawings, models and other specifications for the project in collaboration with the design team.
Outline the mode of construction for the projects in detail and list planting, soft scape and hard scape materials required.
Able to read and implement from electro mechanical drawings and requirements to the design of the landscape.
Monitor the design of a variety of projects and maintain the character of sites of natural beauty and ensuring deadlines are met.
Monitor the design and preparation of measurements, base drawings, digital imagery and color, material and plant selections.
Coordinate with other departments regarding any modifications needed to take place within the design.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Landscape Architect, Lead & Design Architects.
