About the role

Department: On-sync Energy Management Services الشركة.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide legal and regulatory support for business partnerships, joint ventures, and commercial agreements within the energy sector.
  • Evaluate partnership structures and business models to ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, technical, and commercial requirements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate partnership agreements, contractual الشروط والأحكام, and related legal documentation.
  • Support tendering and commercial processes by providing legal guidance and ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Monitor and support the implementation and execution of contractual terms throughout the partnership lifecycle.
  • Advise on contract amendments, renewals, terminations, and other contractual matters.
  • Review and update contractual frameworks to address evolving legal, regulatory, and business requirements.
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations affecting business partnerships and operations.
  • Conduct legal and reputational due diligence on potential partners and third parties.
  • Develop and maintain legal and regulatory reference materials to support business activities and compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on contractual, legal, and regulatory matters.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, corporate policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Review compliance reports and address legal or regulatory issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify and mitigate legal, commercial, and regulatory risks associated with partnerships and business activities.
  • Provide ongoing legal advisory support to management and project teams on contractual and regulatory matters.
Qualification Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
  • Additional qualifications or certifications in Energy Law, Contract Management, Commercial Law, or related fields are preferred.
  • Minimum 20 years of professional legal experience, including significant experience within the Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
  • Proven experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing complex Oil & Gas contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Strong experience with joint ventures, strategic partnerships, production sharing agreements, or similar commercial arrangements.
  • Extensive knowledge of contract law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of national and international regulations affecting the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience conducting legal and reputational due diligence on business partners and third parties.
  • Ability to integrate legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations into contractual frameworks and business decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and external parties.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in legal risk assessment, mitigation, and compliance management.
