Responsibilities
  • Assembling, installing, maintaining, repairing, and reassembling static and rotating equipment (valves, pumps, etc.).
  • Testing of static and rotating equipment, structural components and piping systems in compliance with safety standards.
  • Identifying defects and diagnosing mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Performing maintenance checks, troubleshooting malfunctions, and repairing or replacing damaged parts to minimize downtime.
  • Using various tools and equipment for assembly and disassembly.
  • Using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Maintaining records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs completed.
Qualifications
  • ITI Fitter (2 year course) with at least 2 years of experience OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in handling various tools and equipment for assembly and disassembly.
  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.).
