Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join our team for an exciting port project in \الكويت. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all project-related documents, ensuring efficient information flow, and maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system for the port project
• Receive, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents
• Ensure all documents are properly filed, indexed, and easily retrievable
• Coordinate with project team members to collect, review, and process technical documents
• Maintain version control and track document revisions
• Prepare and distribute regular document status reports
• Assist in the development and implementation of document control procedures
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely document submissions
• Perform quality checks on documents to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications
• Manage the electronic document management system and train users as needed
• Support design review and construction supervision processes by facilitating document access and distribution
• Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation

Qualifications

• University Degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in document control, preferably in construction or engineering projects
• Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with project management software
• Familiarity with CAD software is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
