The role in brief

The Architectural Engineer is responsible for designing buildings and in charge of overseeing timely and profitable completion of the project. Coordinates the work team, consults with clients, draws designs, and proposes budgets.  

Your Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to collect information on design requirements for building projects and identify structural specifications, الموقع and budget
• Identify/specify requirements for the project including cost estimates, materials, and assumed duration of construction
• Prepare proposals and deliver presentations to clients
• Offer recommendation to clients (internal and external) on suitable choice of design, considering set budget and preference
• Produce designs for proposed structures using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD,3Dmax and manual drafting
• Exchange information and ideas with other building design professionals to add to their pool of knowledge
• Adhere to الشركة policies, regulations and standards when working with clients
• Document and keep record of architectural designs and other relevant information required for filing purposes
• Maintain contact with clients during building construction to help resolve possible design problems
• Modify created designs on request of management or client
• Attend conferences/workshops to stay up-to-date with architectural trends and development
• Review bidding documents before tendering (drawings, BOQ, specifications) 
• Review and approve workshop drawings and materials
• Travel regularly to building sites, proposed الموقعs and client meetings
• Work and liaise with appointed engineering offices during all phases of design including permitting phase and follow up with Municipality and الكويت fire department and others

Requirements

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering
• 8 to 12 years' relevant experience
• Must be registered with the الكويت society of engineers

Your Proficiencies

• Project management skills
• In depth experience in AutoCAD, 3Dmax, etc.
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
