Chief Engineer

We are currently seeking a Chief Engineer to join our team at Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Apartments. This role requires a professional who exceeds the resume, brings character, skills, talents, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure smooth operation of the property maintenance department and maintain all areas to the highest standards.
  • Proactively improve guest satisfaction and comfort, providing timely and positive responses to guest inquiries.
  • Develop and implement plans to meet property maintenance initiatives and hotel targets.
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and performance.
  • Prepare and manage the departmental budget, controlling costs, inventory, and ensuring productivity.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Establish and deliver an effective planned preventive maintenance program addressing maintenance, environmental and conservation matters.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance with all legislation, due diligence requirements, and best practices; plan, deliver, document for internal and external audit and perform follow-up.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in property maintenance with strong problem solving capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a hands on approach and lead by example work style.
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service and passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to find creative solutions, offer advice and recommendations.
