Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Barista role located in Andalus at Waldorf Astoria الكويت. The Barista prepares and serves high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in line with brand standards, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene. Daily responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and providing personalized recommendations to enhance the guest experience. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization of the barista station, supporting food preparation for light snacks or pastries, and following safety and sanitation guidelines. The Barista collaborates with team members to manage stock levels, support peak service periods, and uphold Waldorf Astoria's commitment to exceptional service.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create welcoming, attentive, and respectful interactions with all guests.
  • Candidates should possess Barista skills and Food Preparation skills to prepare beverages and acالشركةing items safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to take orders accurately, provide clear information, and coordinate with team members and supervisors.
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel, café, or hospitality environment is preferred, along with knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and food safety practices.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and handle busy service times while maintaining a professional, service-focused attitude.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and POS systems; proficiency in English required, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
