Role Description

The Stock Controller & Storekeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Shuwaikh. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining stock levels, receiving and inspecting incoming materials, and ensuring accurate storage, labeling, and organization of construction materials and related products. The Stock Controller & Storekeeper will update inventory records, prepare stock reports, and coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to support smooth supply chain operations. Daily tasks include managing stock movements, conducting regular stock counts, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. The role also involves supporting loading and unloading activities and complying with الشركة policies and health and safety standards.

Qualifications
  • Experience in stock control, storekeeping, or warehouse operations, preferably in construction materials or trading companies.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems or ERP software, and basic computer skills (Excel, email, data entry).
  • Strong numerical, record-keeping, and attention-to-detail skills for accurate counting, documentation, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with procurement, sales, logistics, and suppliers.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing stock, and to work safely in a warehouse environment.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices relevant to storage and handling of building materials.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in warehousing or logistics is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in الكويت or GCC markets and familiarity with local customs and procedures is beneficial.
